I loved the play on if the second Doctor was really the real Doctor or not. Every time they had a scene hinting at if he was or not, was brilliantly written. Especially the 'the pocket watch holds your personna. let's open it.' and the workings fall out, and 'This is my Tardis!' and you see a huge balloon, not a police call box.
