I was just speaking with her as i haven't seen her since last summer.

Her family is all still in India and she is so worried about them. Although luckily her parents have each had one shot, and her grandmother is getting her second shot (all AZ) this week.

But 3 of her good friends she grew up with there have all lost a parent to Covid in this third wave. She says it's everywhere and people are either terrified or resigned to it taking them or someone they love.

it was so heartbreaking talking to her.
