I'm willing to hold out for the right job. B is a perfectly great job, the salary I wanted, likely low stress.

I don't want to be an idiot and lose out on a great job.
But it's reasonable for mr to do the Thursday interview, right? The recruiter at B is freaking out because he hoped I'd jump on it instantly. He of course told me they have other candidates under consideration, etc. He got the security officer to personally call me and reassure (except, as I already knew, he couldn't). It certainly is clear B wants me to work there, and I greatly appreciate that. I have learned that when a place really wants to hire you, your job tends to go better.
