understand that... aluminum frame should be okay.. cyclocross is a road frame, just has a fat fork, big tires.. adds about 1 lb to it -- nm

I'll be honest and say I don't even know what a cyclocross bike is! :-) I'm reading about them but I was picturing some chunky off road bike. -- nm
