Suckers for animals in distress, we are considering taking in this puppy.

7 pounds, 8-10 weeks old. Abandoned in my brother's neighborhood. Group of kids thought it would be good sport to feed her to a pit bull.

My brother's neighbor rescued her but can't keep her.

We haven't met her yet, but will be setting up a vet check tomorrow to get her a round of shots and met her in an environment away from our other two dogs.

Dex, our 14 year old husky mix is likely not to see August, so it'll soon be just Freddie who we rescued in February. She and Freddie would have a blast together.
