Assuming that there are new purchases since that initial weekend doesn't make sense to me. Maybe there are, but we can't say either way. We do know that kids watch movies on Disney channel over and over. It doesn't make sense to me that someone who needs to see Raya that badly waits a week or more to pay $30.
I love all of you in the podcast as people and as personalities, but the way you make everything Disney does into a huge success frustrates me as a viewer.
The old math for Hollywood was three times the budget was the path toward profitability. Even if you knock that down to twice the budget, I find it hard to believe that Disney has made $300 million total with Raya. That would have to be close to $200 million (or over 6 million purchases) for the film. I find that total highly improbable.
