They rely heavily on premapping and if reality fails to match its maps...
At least it stopped instead of driving through the construction area.

Waymo has permission to operate sans driver in a couple locations. They eventually sent a driver to sort this trip out.

The issue is that it can only react to changes by stopping. It's super cautious, which is great, but not exactly
