Something I've noticed in all this is how different the public reads scientific statements from what is actually meant.

Take the three week vs 12 week thing.
"We tested the doses the weeks apart."
"So that's what we should do?"
"We tested three weeks."
"So can we do longer?"
"We tested three weeks."
"So you're saying it doesn't work then."
"We tested three weeks."
