I've been on mailing lists where mail from certain senders to the list wind up in spam

Even when I've been on the list a long time, no rhyme or reason from what I can tell.
So sometimes I see a response and go 'wait I did not see the previously e-mail'
No clue if that's it, but perhaps something like that?
