I don't know the height, nor the angles between the sides. All I know is the 3 sides. -- nm

wiki says yes - Heron's formula is how you can calc. the area if you only know the sides -- (link)

But you should be able to convert a triangle into 2 smaller right triangles and go from there. -- nm

you'd need to use trigonometery to calculate the shared side of the two right-angle triangles though -- nm
