It'll probably set me back under $200, for just the outlet. I can still buy a smart charger to plug into it, or just plug the car straight into the outlet. -- (edited)

Where the outlet goes also was a factor as the further from the utility box you go, the more they'll have to fish the cables through the walls, which takes longer, and costs more.
