Back in the early 80's my wife lived in KC and worked at a restaurant that ballplayers frequented. She became really friendly with a lot of the KC players and dated one of the guys on the team fairly seriously for a while. He had previously played for the Yankees and when they Yankees came to town he and several others including Reggie Jackson came to my wife's house. Jackson kept hitting on her all night and left in huff when she finally just told him off. She said he was a total asshole.
