A few days into shingles and not shaving, I realized my facial hair was white. Last time it had grown was a few years ago and it was basically red.

So I decided to grow a goatee. Mainly so when I looked in the mirror I would see it first and not the shingle spots on my face. I had a meeting Tuesday night so I decided to clean up the goatee, going with the anchor style.

Yesterday I noticed that the parts I had shaved off were growing back in red. Today I noticed red mixing with all of it, so I shaved it all away.

So I guess my body was knocked down hard enough by the shingles that my facial hair had went white. And now that color is returning, maybe I am getting on it if not over it.

Very strange.
