How even a simple wedding can become a disaster... they planned on this park by the puget sound, former gravel quarry, it has a million dollar bridge

to a tiny spit of beach on the other side of a busy railroad track....Hundreds of couples put locks on the railings.

Its part of the Chambers Bay recreation area, famous for the gold course the Nationals were held at that players universally despised because of the management's decision to go native grass which is literally crab grass/quack grass and the course was a rough as a gravel driveway. but I digress a whole paragraphs worth.

there was a large golf tournament, maybe national? the place was packed, no parking period, worse because the park is a quarter mile down from the golf club, the streets to get there were full and/or NO PARKING...it would have been a mile or more walk.

thank gawd for cell phones...we were able to get most folks to a back up location
