I've said repeatedly that the single biggest indication of an "apocalypse" in an end-of-the-world movie is a lack of electricity. As we start innovating battery technology and stop relying on a distributed grid, our society is going to change.

Also, that work surface where you fold down the armrest is AH-MAY-ZING!
