With RAID it's also easy, in theory, to pull a drive and put it in a safe place and then put in a blank drive to be filled up with the existing data. -- nm

Right...this would be Raid-1 as a standard -- We have too much stuff I don't want to risk losing on aging storage devices. -- nm
