In good news, Democrat Melanie Stanbury has been elected to replace Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland in New Mexico's 1st Congressional district

She's currently up 62-33. Haaland was reelected 58-41 in 2020. The district voted for Biden 60-37. The GOP candidate supposedly ran a "she's gonna defund the police!" campaign.
