It takes me 48.5 minutes.
I suspect some people can walk it that fast.

Same here. But once you have a baseline, now you can try to go faster each time. -- nm

Now probably 25-28 minutes? At my best maybe 22. I generally train for distance now when I (infrequently) run.

12 year old me could do it in 21 minutes. I haven't gone for a run in like forever though. I do walk the kids to day care at a 9min/km pace though -- nm

I'm more worn out having the puppy chase me around the yard than the 3lb lopping along at my feet -- nm

Looking back my first training 5K run/walk took me 44:11. I just kept doing 5K 3-4 times per week until I could run the whole thing.

My mile time when I last attempted was 14minutes...so I'm probably in the 45-48 minute range. -- nm

(This was not intended as a humblebrag, this was seeking goalposts for future runs. I set a baseline.)

Fastest I’ve ever done was about 33 minutes. Today I’m guessing it would take me significantly longer. -- nm

It's a bad question. The better question is, can you run your next one a tiny bit faster? -- nm
