It didn't come off that way when I heard it back in the 80's, but now it's kind of creepy.

One day I thought it would fun to do with my band and then I really focused on the lyrics and decided "nope". But then you know Bon Jovi's "Always" is viewed as this great love song, but Bon Jovi said himself "It's a sick little twisted lyric," Jon Bon Jovi explained. "So many people feel it's so romantic and so wonderful, but truthfully, this guy is practically a stalker. He's a sick human being."

So who knows.
