I'd love for just one big man to suck it up and shoot free throws underhanded. They're nearly all terrible to the point that hacking them is a viable

gameplan for the end of games.

Their height is the reason they don't or can't make free throws and they refuse to change how they shoot.

Due to their height and reach they can't get any arc on their free throws. They mostly end up shooting these straight on a line shots that don't go in because of a lack of an arc. To get the arc they'd need to get on their knees which would be an issue.

But if they'd just listen to Rick Barry and shoot underhanded they'd end up as some of the league leaders in free throws.

They just need to get past that part of their ego that doesn't let them do it.
