I'm sure if a player focused on going against it he could get teams to stop doing it. The concern would be messing with a players swing.

It's all about timing and when your trying to do something specific like hit the other way that's not as simple as just waiting for your pitch and putting your best swing on it.

It's something that need to be taught to lefties at a younger age than in MLB. I think it's too late by then.
