I remember a story about Bonds in his first or second season taking BP

Not full speed but not meatballs, and he cracked four in a row dead pulled to right. Some coach goes up to him and says that's great but a real hitter can put them anywhere, and he hit the next four to left. 'like that?'

Now, that's Bonds. But still.
