Can't really bank it in consistently from the FT line with the angle they get on the shot. Underhand would have them at 90% or more.

They're just too tall to have a soft shot overhand. They put up more bricks than a mason.
If you're nearly 7' tall with nearly 3' of reach there's nearly no way to shoot well overhand from the FT. The ball will come on too straight and even if they bank it every time they ball will not have the right angle to go in consistently. It will often just rim out.
