Seeing friends and family.

But hotel beds suck and it takes days to get comfortable in them. I miss my pets and hate the actual travel part of sitting in a car for hours to get to the destination.

I've never enjoyed the travel part of travelling, but often enjoy the destinations. But this time it was just lots of boredom and lots of discomfort in being in large groups.
