Oh, I know. And I think it's a bit nuanced.


A lot of companies will throw all sorts of money at Pride and other efforts to support queer communities in any number of ways. Then they'll turn around and donate money to Members of Congress with atrocious records on LGBT+ rights. There is an argument that "well, that's just doing business." And I'll bet a lot of companies donate to those politicians due to their equally conservative stances on taxes, foreign competition, corporate regulation, etc.

But I think you have to have a lot of gall to send $150,000 to DC Pride one month and another $150,000 to CPAC a few months later.
