i've been 100% off alcohol for 20 days, taking my iron 5 days a week, lost 11 lbs, just had a blood test. hoping for good things as a result.

last 3 or 4 blood tests they've called and said "so, you been on a little bender?"... which i had. it's not doing great things for my blood sugar. i'm not pre-diabetic, but drifting that way.

feel way better, sleeping better, the stomach aches have gone away in the morning. turns out 6 or 8 beers a night has CONSEQUENCES.

there are a few beers i'd like to drink, but i think i'm going to take some time away from drinking drinking. i'll probably come back with liquor.

getting high has really helped. i've been extremely high a number of times when i felt like i wanted to be drunk... i'm nice and fun when i am, i sleep really well, i feel nice... it's a lot easier to get that stuff regularly, so that may be my go to. a friend said that helped him stop drinking, so i thought i'd try it.

i also found out that i'm just kind of loopy in the evenings anyway... alcohol and weed aside. that's an odd feeling.

anyhoo, maybe this helps some of ya'll with making some steps to better health. it's not easy, but baby steps get you there.
