So, I will skip Godfather 1, Papillon, Exorcist, Deer Hunter, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, and Young Frankenstein.

Because I've seen them! Hah. Had you going there.
OK, maybe I didn't. But anyway. There are a few that I'm going to skip because I've seen fragments and decided I don't care to see the whole thing.
- 2001
- Apocalypse Now
- Clockwork Orange
- Jaws
- The Sting
I'll probably watch The Sting at some point in its entirety, but the other four, although admitedly iconic, to not pique my interest at the moment. And it'll take me months or years to get through this list anyway.
(If you're curious, I'm looking at Zip.ca's Top Rated films by decade for good pics. So far, of the top 50 for the 60s, and for the 70s, I've found a handful that I'm interested in seeing. Lawrence of Arabia, for example.)

The five in your IM are all theatre-musts (vs. home DVD), in part because they all share a claustrophobic angle, amongst other traits. -- nm

Please save Lawrence of Arabia for a time when you can watch it on a big screen.
