Loki allows himself in the end to let the time keepers do a mind wipe of him. He cant go back to his old life cause he dies. He has alot of pain in his life the fact that he was adopted he was responsible for his mom dying the loss of Odin. He made the ultimate sacrifice in the end at the end of Infinity War. Nothing can top that.
