My neighbor informed me my brake lights were remaining on. I think it is a failed switch. But with no light and no guidance on fuses…

…we just disconnected the battery.
He is a great guy. I like having neighbors that are neighborly. But I don’t need a repair bill. So hopefully I can do this myself.
Responses:
I had this happen years ago when I drove an old car. It turned out to be a weak spring on the brake pedal. Easy to test. Just pull up on the pedal to see if the lights go out. -- nm*
