Huzzah! Now you shall hear my favorite Canada Day story.

Several years back, I started playing a little MMO based on Marvel IP called Marvel Heroes. It was great fun. You started with one of a small selection of heroes -- I took Scarlet Witch -- and could unlock others either through earning in-game currency or cash infusion.
Approaching July 4, the game administrators announced Captain America would be on sale for a significantly reduced price, $5 as I recall.
On the message boards, it was pointed out to them that July 1 was Canada Day. The response was "Oh, that's a good point" and they put Wolverine on sale as well. :)
