uh, yes, that's because less people are eligible to file. It doesn't mean there's any change in actual unemployment.

I’m guessing there’s some other factor at play here, to my understanding ending the federal supplement would not in and of itself affect eligibility to continue claiming -- (edited)

Right, if they're eligible for state benefits, they're eligible. The federal supplement is separate. -- nm
