I have 2 cans of paint of the same color that are partially full. Do I mix them into one can and paint from there?

Or do I finish one can and then move to the other?
Responses:
Take off their lids, turn off the lights, close the door and let 'em fight it out. Last one standing.....*that's* your paint -- nm

Always mix. Even new, unopened cans if you'll be using more than one on a project.

Nickelodeon made a cute kids game show where they wore all white and had to perform challenges while paint was spraying. It's not on Paramount though. -- nm

This is like paint roulette. I say mix them but shake/stir them very, very well. -- nm
