It really would have only been $25 (their damage insurance), but my frustration was that there was no way for me to prove it wasn't my fault.

I felt like I was going crazy. I wanted to trust that they sent me out in a secure vehicle, but trusting that meant questioning my reality because I knew I didn't brush through anything. Something would have had to have fallen out of the sky and landed on my while I was driving and then disappeared out of existence before I noticed the light hanging in my rear view mirror.
Plus I was damn pressed for time.
