Yeah, UHaul isn't the best. But it's what we've got.

My worst experiences with UHaul relate to the length of the pick-up process. The local franchisees tend to skimp by understaffing. So when everyone shows up at UHaul on a Saturday morning, and there's one kid who does the check-in and then brings the truck around... that takes forever.

The mobile pickup you describe sounds great in theory but clearly the implementation is a failure.

I've also had concerns about the dents and dings in the past. Every UHaul I get has dents and dings and not all of them are marked, but they don't seem to pay much attention to them, either.

I've never heard of "roof spindles" before but now I know to look for them in the future.
