Some people have serious issues with rational judgement. I understand that the Chief probably thought of it as a joke, but it's a joke that comes from a root of racism. THIS IS NOT OK. It was a micro aggression that combined with other micro aggression add up to serious lapses of judgement. And people like this should not be in a position of authority.
