Just curious...then why have you been so involved in all the political discussions around here when you had no plans to even vote?
you've been as vocal as anyone for weeks on this topic and then on the day, you don't even go out to vote?
I don't get it.

I'll say this much: I'm pissed I ever argued with someone who has abrogated their right to have an opinion on presidential politics.

In all honestly, I still feel as though "my vote doesn't count."

I feel that way too, but I decided I wanted the numbers for the state to include my opinion anyway. Just to make the number more accurate. -- nm

What counts is that everyone votes, or as many as possible, and by being an example and voting you are helping that tradition to continue.

that's like saying "$1" doesn't matter. or "one chocolate bar won't ruin my diet", or whatever. it's TRUE, but

I know in my heart of hearts mine does not count but I do it anyway.

I feel that way too...until I start seeing the results of the local elections and propositions and they're decided by a few hundred votes.
