In all honestly, I still feel as though "my vote doesn't count."

even with the whole Gore/Bush by 536 votes thing (or whatever).
In the end, 1 vote doesn't matter. Lots of people who feel the same way compounds the issue, but in the end, 1 vote doesn't *really* matter.

What counts is that everyone votes, or as many as possible, and by being an example and voting you are helping that tradition to continue.
