But the attention I pay to it may differ from year to year.

It just sometimes occupies my thoughts, pondering how this all happened and is now so (mostly) overlooked, kinda forgotten.

You even see Indians half ridiculed, at times, in various media - charicatured; they deal in casinos, moonshine, bootleg fireworks etc, off of the reservations - and so on
