There's a flaw in the data which hurts YouTube substantially.

I've seen the chart before that shows YouTube neck-and-neck with Netflix. I didn't realize it came from The Gauge. The flaw, of course, is exactly what you pointed out: It only measures TV. The fact that 6% of TV viewership is dedicated to YouTube is actually astounding. If they were able to measure mobile devices, I think we would see that YouTube is 99% of mobile viewership.
