I hate cakes covered in fondant. They must be edible and able to be cut into normal pieces for people to eat.

Sure, the fondant ones look awesome but they're barely cakes. They're more of a food based sculpture than a cake you'd want to eat.
Also, I'd munch on some cock... cake.
