I did a training for my team around email and mental health a few weeks ago.

I told them some people do find it rude to be emailed during off hours, but no matter what, they should set their own boundaries around when they will check and respond to email.
And to know that by no means are they expected to respond outside of work hours to any customer or teammate who emails during those times.
Perfect world, I want my people off their computer during non working hours, but I know they don’t all follow that. Seems to be generational - boomers have the hardest time. I have 2 and a Gen X who’s more like a boomer on my team who all three struggle with the concept.
