I do it as often as I remember. Yeah, it seems to help with allergies....

I don't have a pot per se, but a small (16oz?) water bottle with a nozzle top.
I fill it about halfway up with lukewarm tap water and about a half teaspoon of salt and squirt half through each nostril.
I've been doing this for a few months... just feels cleaner up there. The allergies just started kicking in this last week, and the 'nasal douche' (as I call it to gross out the wife) seems to really help.
