Sure but we can be better and I refuse to believe that because of past issues we shouldn't be trying to make a better system for the majority of us.

I don't want us to just throw our hands up and say it's too difficult so let's just keep the status quo.
We need to be better than that and we need to keep progressing and improving things. This is one area that can be overhauled to the benefit of the majority of Americans. It won't be easy at first but over the long haul it would be best.
