Oldest: "So, I'm thinking of moving in with [girlfriend]"
Youngest: "What do you mean you don't think my boyfriend should come with to drop me off at college?"

As for the oldest, go for it. I've been there and can see all the sides of it but it certainly feels like a net positive

And the youngest...no, sweetie, your boyfriend should not be subjected to a 4 hour drive the night before, spend the night with us in a hotel room, unload you into a dorm from 8-10am on Saturday and then have some kind of tearful goodbye in front of us, your new roommate, and everyone else to then have to be with us Saturday afternoon/night (we are spending the night again) and then *all day* Sunday while we decide if you need us for anything. Then a 4 hour return drive home. No, that is NOT going to happen.
