I watched all of the trials. When a swimmer made the team they signed a Japanese drum. They had someone instructing them to sign all around the outside edges. Everyone signed nicely around the drum, since there's so many team members that go. After his first event he qualified for, Michael Andrew ignored the person and signed huge, dead center middle of the drum. I knew right then he only had one thing on his mind, himself.
