I theoretically could park downtown (and did during my Freshman/Sophomore years when I lived at home).

Yeah, IU is in the middle of Bloomington, so depending on the class locations I did drive on occasion and park near and walk in. -- nm

Very similar to ISU, then. It's right in the middle of Normal and there are places you can park and then walk. Or there were back then. :)

It actually made living on campus a *good* idea as you could walk to theaters, bars, etc.
