The 49ers have been very successful with their move to that area, they didn't want the A's to do the same. I don't see how that's their territory, but

the Angels get to call themselves LA. If I was a fan who lived in the OC, I'd be insulted they changed their name. I don't see how it has helped their marketing. Now they look like the LA B team, much as before, but more blatantly.
