Grrr. I was scheduled to have a gum graft done 2 weeks ago, but my last procedure hadn't healed as quickly as the oral surgeon had liked, so they had

me schedule an appointment to check on things when I came back from vacation. I asked if I could just make that appointment long enough for the gum graft if things looked ok, or schedule a second appointment later in the week, which could be cancelled if my mouth still didn't look healed. I was told no, it would be no problem getting me in.

I went yesterday. Mouth looks good now and I'm ready for the gum graft. They have no appointments available until after I go back to school first week of August. I WAITED UNTIL SUMMER TO GET THIS DONE SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE PAIN AT SCHOOL. I was explicit with why I needed the timeline I did and was told it wouldn't be a problem. Surprise surprise, now it is.
