It was very satisfying to be at work today. Yes, it was just orientation, but really felt like I was putting the past behind me. Being at my...

...original store was so wonderful too. These are the folks that gave me the first opportunity, they've known me the longest, and seeing those that were still there was great.

Tomorrow is more videos! All the videos! They do alcohol sellers training via video now. That's outstanding. That originally took 5 fucking hours at a store that could be many miles away.

Friday is bagger training. Oh boy! Easy money!

August 3rd is cashier training. Unfortunately this IS still 5 fucking hours at a store that is many miles away. But I'm glad they are sending me. It's been a couple of years since jockeying a register.

Finally: I really am trying to take the attitude that while I am back at this place once again, it's a new version of me. One with a lot more experiences and lessons learned. I'm essentially living the Clerks 2 life for now.

I'm going to end with a very grateful thanks, so heartfelt as much as possible, to you guys. That ask the other day wasn't easy. It makes me feel like such a failure. But you won't let me stay that way. And I am abundantly better being part of this group. Again, if anyone wanted that money to be paid back, please please tell me. Otherwise, I'll return the favor in the same way we always do: when the next person asks for a donation to this, that, or the other.
