Ironies of life...spent $650 trying to find out why our Mazada 3 only starts in neutral and found out its a $8 fix....

Car would only start in neutral not in park. Had multiple mechanics look at it and even changed the neutral safety switch in case that was it.

Our Mazada 3 model has a weird quick about the amount of transmission fluid it needs and it must always be at least 75% full for it to start in park. Mazda itself did not even know how to fix. Only finally found out from a "smart" Mazada customer on-line who had a similar issue.
